Well most of my other shots are just window lighting so that wouldn't have been much of a challenge heheh. |

It kinda looks like a snoot on the boys right with a reflector for fill. |

See I would guess things like that if I had any kind of lighting equipment. :( :P

Yanko you're actually closer to correct on this one. |

OK...We were under a railway bridge and I was lying on the ground. Its natural light from both sides of the bridge. We were nearer to the edge of the bridge on the boys right side and therefore we got stronger light on that side.
So its all natural light but a bit stronger on his right. |

Looks to me as if there is natural light coming from either side of the subject. perhaps perpendicular windows (doors) to the outside?

I agree. The shadows show light from above. I'd say bounced flash as well. |

Perhaps bounced of the wall up and to the left of the photographer. The shadows seem to be tending towards the subject's left. |

And you drug the shutter to allow for the TV to be synced.

It was a SpeedLight on a tripod at 6 feet. With half an alchol bottle cut off and slipped over the light pointing straight up. Gives direct and bounce. To complicate matters there was 100 watts of tungsten in the center of the room. Makes for erie skin tones, no?

The TV sync was an accident. I was playing with different flash techs
on my brothers as they installed a new vid card in the pictured brothers
computer. Flash was off camera and in manual mode, remote triggered
by Nikon CLS system. Next frame didnt' sync with the TV very well

Lightbox with two strobes or lights at 45 degree angles?
Nice shot.

yanko's is two light sources one from the left (slightly behind) of the bottle and one from nearly straight ahead of it.
