| Trying to comment on this challenge is difficult because there are only so many ways to say I love this shot! Great pic's here, makes me want more pets and I already have four dogs. Loved voting on this challenge. Wish my score was better because of course I think I have one of the worlds cutest dogs but its very hard to compete with the talent shown in this challenge. Some amazing shots this time around! |

I was calling my pet "5.7986" last night (since that was what my score was at the time). He/She didn't respond well to that. Pretty much ignored me. He/she probably was a touch offended that the score wasn't closer to 10.
I predicted a 5.8 - so I'm pretty close (for now), but deep down, I really wanted a 6.25.
Looks like I'll be lucky to finish in the top 100 with this score. |

And I am also happy because I recieved one comment that MIGHT just have given me the insight as to WHY I had recieved a spat of 4's earlier in the week. I was grasping at straws and confused on the low votes because the other 11 comments have nothing but praise for the composition.

Currently my 6th highest, and getting close to #5 and certainly within range of #4.
Oh, and it will fulfill something that I was going to make a goal for 2007. So now, I'll need to think of a new goal.

| I just finished voting on the pets...so many adorable pets!!! After looking at the photos I've decided cats look much easier to photograph than dogs. My score is where it should be in comparison with all these great shots. Makes me realize how important lighting is in a photo. |

The wife and I came home from a christmas party and there were bloody paw prints all over the house. Our dog had ripped his toenail almost off somehow so it was off to the emergency vet. They have to sedate him to remove the broken toenail. He's under the knife as I type this. He should be fine but my wallet will be alot lighter. So be nice and give his portrait a 10. It will lift his spirits while he is recovering.
Edit to add: my boy made it out of surgery and is on the mend. He still feels a few 10's are the best medicine at this point.
