Cool, standard stock rates for a full page ad like that in a mag like men's health would be $1100 to $1600 per use. Hope you got close! That'll be a nice new lens or camera upgrade :)

Hey Leroy, good to see you got my comment on your photo a few days ago alerting you to the ad.

I've still got a copy of the magazine - I think someone else said they were sending it to you - but let me know if you want another copy or something.

Edit: Just noticed that four seasons obtained it via a microstock agency. That, for me, is more than a bit of a shame. It's such a fantastic image, and it seems somewhat exploitative that a fairly major condom manufacturer is able to use your art as the basis for a national advertising campaign for a measly four dollars (of which you see what, $2).

Anyway, that's taking this thread off topic - and I don't mean to do that. Whether you are adequately compensated or not, it must be a huge thrill to know that someone in the commercial world thought highly enough of your work to use it in that way.

Congrats.

Ah...another one! So tell me, did you buy this magazine for the 'Story of the female orgasm'?? I thought there was only one step but there appears to be 10! ;)

But yeah, well done to Leroy! You never know where your stock photos go or what they are used for so it's good to actually find one!
