Doesn't it have that mapping function to erase stuff like that?

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say "No". If for no other reason than it'll show up in Jason's thread search. |

no, its like making the things like a reflection in a mirror, so if the things on the left are now on the right, but not upside down. makes sense? |

You see, you have to take a dust data photo; just a photo on very white paper 1-2 feet away from the camera, whit the paper covering ALL the view finder and while focusing on infinity. The camera saves that file (a very very small file) and then it imbeds it with the file of each image. It says you should use a focal length greater than 50 mm, when doing the dust data photo and it should work for all lenses.
Well, it only works for than exact focal length and as you sway from it, the dust becomes more apparent, of course more blurred and faded if you go to higher focal length.

My initial reaction is no, but submit a ticket so other SC members can see it and offer their opinion. Help>Contact>General |

Just in case anyone else was wondering about this, here is the answer (from kirbic):
"Flipping is not allowed in minimal, only rotation." |

Unless you have a sepia setting in-camera. Then it is allowed. So don't vote down a sepia shot just because it's sepia.

Well you can hide the dust, I've been looking at some pictures and the dust steps out more on some pictures then on others( it's sharper). It' looks out of focus on some, so it probably depends on where the focus is (you can barely see it when focused to infinity). |
