Sigh.

So I got my satellite hooked up and working and everything. Won't work with my TV, sadly enough (dang US non-compatible systems and all) so today I get a TV. Everything is wonderful! I'm flipping through the music channels to find something nice to listen to for the evening, and poof! No signal. I can't for the life of me get it back. No storms, no rain, nice clear night.

Now what?

Oh, and I've nothing for any of the current challenges. Clueless. Idealess. Haven't even been shooting much.

I have nothing for acronyms either. Not a clue. One of the opens is a technical challenge, you should be alright with that one. I'm in Ice.

Woohoo! ... I am in Love, Street, Trees, Free Study, Low Key AND Acronyms now ... ALL 6! They look good all lined up in the bottom row of my portfolio ... but Street, Love, and Trees are all bombing on me ... LOL!

At home, I have a randomized list of team suck members to be interviewed. When I get home I'll post these and maybe we can divide up the names among willing interviewers. We should let Don add a few "personalized" questions.

All the suckees have been randomly arranged into 7 groups of 6 people for interviews. The groups are here.

If you would like to be an interviewer, pick a group 1 through 7. Let me know which group you pick and I will post it.

As an interviewer, you will be responsible for interviewing people in your group and deciding which questions to ask - a possible list is posted on the teamsuck website. Interviews should be conducted by PM. We will start a new thread dedicated to the interviews.

i'm happy to answer questions. i wish i could be an interviewer too, but i think i just don't have enough time. with the kid sleeping lessa nd less, and tryng to start a new business with my husband, things are very hectic around here. so, much as i want to say yes to interviewing, i know i'd just let everyone down. hell, i don't even manage to accomplish stuff that's vital to our well-being, let alone stuff i don't actually have to do...

so, if someone wants to interivew me, i'm happy to do it. guess that's what i was trying to say, in my long winded, roundabout way.

Once again, I want to respond to many posts at once. :)

Catherine, Deb, Lea, and anyone else who wants to chip in for flowers for Jeanne, I have a paypal account for eBay sales. My email address is jeffrey at cliffclimber dot com.

I've been talking to Jeanne each day. Today's report is that her insurance won't cover an ambulance, so she's here until at least Monday. Then she needs, as she put it, "major rehab" just to prove she can move around and take care of herself. Only then can she climb in her van and go home to wait for her next surgery in 10-14 days.

If you'd like to send an e-card, go for it, but she won't see a computer for several more days. If, on the other hand, you'd like to send a picture, or make a card in Word, Photoshop, or something similar, email it to me and I'll print it out.

I'll take whatever we collect to her tomorrow or Sunday. I leave Sunday afternoon for a week at Disney World (woo hoo!) so I'd like to get it all wrapped up by tomorrow afternoon if at all possible. If you want to send something, please let me know ASAP, even before you pull it together, so I know what to expect.

I've been telling her how everyone here has been sending best wishes, and I read all of the comments to her from my memento shot. I could hear her smiling over the phone. :) If you want to leave a message, leave it here:

I'd be happy to do some interviewing after we get back (Disney World!).

I'm getting my shots together early just like kashi and greetmir (because I'm going to Disney World for a week!). Free study and low key are already in, and I've shot my acronym entry.

Brookied, that's an AMAZING Street score. Congrats!

Meyers, you've got a great Street score going, too. Congrats!

Catherine, sounds like you're tearing up trees and your Street entry's doing well, too. Congrats!

Finally, kashi, entering multiple shots from the same shoot is just fine. Look at my top 5 scores - two of them are from the same hour or so spent at the WWII memorial.

If it's too obvious, someone might leave you a comment, but many others have done it. Just don't use the same shot - one guy got DQd for that.

Edited to add, in case I forgot, that 48 hours from now we'll be nestled in our beds on the auto train (a train that carries you AND your car and will be part of the adventure) en route to DISNEY WORLD! I'm just a little excited. :)

nice! honestly though you could completely baffle the average DPC voter with a doorknob so i'm not surprised. you didn't utilize "creativity" in this shot did you? thats kind of asking for it.

My Street score has taken a turn for the good in the past 24 hours. I won't catch Darren but I will have a new top row entry. My Love... ah, no love there at all. I keep trying to break 5 with that one. Hoping the vote scrubber is kind. :-) And Tree is doing well at 5.8.

Unless I have a sudden stroke of brilliance, though, I don't know that I'll have anything at all to enter for next week.
