just watching the score and looks like being a mirror of the come Back soon shot i just got a Red ribbon for. I can not see a ribbon for me this time as some of the shots are just brilliant and i think this will be a high scoring finish

you know, it's not that he's doing this to my shot - i went through public critiques in university - where the whole town was invited and anyone could comment - it's the bullying tone he takes throughout these discussions that i don't like. he creates a spurious dichotomy and defends it with teeth bared when others try disagree.
ah well, never mind...
much more impostant things in life.

Wa-ha-ha-ha, I̢۪m going for the brown, in red. I was guessing some would not get it, but a 3.4. The funny part is this is almost exactly what I thought of when the challenge was announced. Well I did want one other element included, but it was not to be. I will be watching this one with amusement.

| My Furniture and Red scores are almost identical - just over 6.1. Hope the Red holds as it has a long way to go. I looked through the thumbnails and was surprised that there wasn't a bit more creativity. Some really great photos, though. |

I just looked through the Alternative Med thumbnails, and I agree that there are some stunning shots in there! Lots of beautiful lighting and creativity. Still, 6.6 area may be ribbon territory. Great score, regardless. |

Just ignore first-morning voters. They ALWAYS vote low. Don't know who they are, or why they happen to vote the first morning. But it's happened every challenge I've seen.
Anyway, it's best to ignore scores for a full day or so. With fewer than about 50 votes, every voter has a pretty major impact on the score.

I agree - I think it may be the disgruntled-with-their-own-score phenomenon. Someone just dropped a bomb on my Red shot- took it down a tenth of a point in one vote. Almost always happens, as Jeffrey said. |

Thanks for the nice comment on my low key entry  noraneko. That is my grandaughter. Today is her first birthday! Did you notice the circle on the back of her head? She doesn't have much hair back there and I couldn't figure out how to get rid of the circle. |

My Alternative Medicine shot dropped a full point last night, now hovering around 4.7. Free Study is holding at 5.4 though, which is much better than my last Free Study attempt.
