Shot this tonight. Was during an event that I shot over the last 2 days. Over 3,000 shots that I've JUST begun to sort. I'll probably chat more about it later, but for now, I'm tired and heading off. Happy Shooting!

Oh. . .and they only cried like that for 7 seconds, and as soon as we picked them up, they were all smiles and cuddles again :)

Looks like I'm starting tomorrow. I had to suddenly go out of town. Truth be told I wish I stayed home.

Painted (or how not to win at Paintball...looks like he took one to the chest)


Ok, this was is what I did yesterday (I'll follow my cat around for today's shot).

Paintball is:
1) Tough to shoot (Photos) as you have to wear a mask like the players.
2) A lot of work whether shooting Pics or People with Paint.
3) STRETCH before you play, trust me I only got hit 4 times yesterday and the paintballs are nothing compared to how the thighs feel right now.
4) 40 whatever I am is probably too old for this.

Glad I am not the only one with cats. I had a hard time with this one since she is not as sharp as I would have liked. The more I tried to sharpen it the more the screen showed up.

Ok, quick update for the curious. On Thursday I got a call asking if I could shoot a local beauty pageant. I shot over 1800 pics on Friday during their dress rehersal and another 1600 Saturday night during their pageant. I spent 16 hours in the last 2 days sorting and prepping files (bit over 400 final images) - which have now been uploading to my website for the last 6 hours. Although the upload won't be complete for another few hours, you can peek at the first ~200 here: Link...

So over the next few days, as I complete processing of my fav shots, don't be surprised it I drop in a beauty queen or two.

... taken a week ago ... I spent my whole day painting and forgot about this challenge!

totally agree with ErinM's comment ... I plan to go back and re-edit to clone out the arm and blur the BG when I'm not so tired ...
