Onderwerp: DPChallenge Disqualification

We regret to inform you that the photograph you submitted for the current challenge has been disqualified for the following reason:

Congratulations on your oh-so-amazing photoshop skills, but that just doesn\'t fly here. Intentionally breaking the rules doesn\'t either.

We received several disqualification recommendations from your fellow photographers and voters, and the DPChallenge administrators have confirmed that your submission must be disqualified.

Thank you for your continued participation in DPChallenge, and please do not let this deter you from submitting photographs for future challenges!

MY REPLY:

Got no problem with this... I expected to get disqualified.
I do have a problem with your "ivory tower" language however: "your oh-so-amazing PS skills"...

Who's calling who childish?

Your right and he probably won't answer my question. I guess in some instances he could be considered a troll.

Jeez Buddy, you lucked out not getting banned. Why push your luck?

the saddest thing is that he didn't learn anything...

I assume that folks that know what to look for will be checking out his past submissions? I would but I'm clueless on spot editting.

I hope all future submissions from him will also be carefully screened.

Jochen~this is what I would tell my kids:

I am very proud of you for being honest, but since you submitted the photo your actions show us that you were being dishonest. It doesn't matter if your intent was to say after the challenge that you were a cheat. You were still being dishonest! Next time you want to do this I suggest you making the picture and the putting it in the forums instead of submitting the picture to the challenge. It is not fair to the rest of the people on DPC who go and shot and submit a honest photo.

If I was the administors I would ground you from the challenges for a couple of weeks. Behave, would ya!?
