My granddaughter Lela. She sat there and let us stick the Cheerios to her face. We were cracking up and she just kept this funny look on her face!

This first one is Anna, my only daughter. I caught her spontaneous laugh:)

Rather than a project taking pictures of our (or anyone's) kids, why not turn it around, give them the camera, and a few pointers, and let them show us their world as they see it?

This was one I just had in the Free Study. I am very proud of this shot. Most didn't think it was candid but it was. If I had set it up then he wouldn't have had the lone ranger mask. We were at the beach. I had my big lens on the camera. I yelled my sons name, he turned and I shot. Voila a candid beach portrait.

I could not HELP playing with this lovely image a bit to bring out more dynamic range and see more details. I hope you don't mind ... and I hope you like what I did (with just the low res image).

What a terrific idea of NikonJeb!

I just started a new job, but will post as I can get the processing done.

Here's my most recent photo of the youngest of my two daughters which I entered in the Color Portrait challenge.
