I'm trying to come up with some of the most recognizable pieces of art from their titles alone. So far I haven't thought of many!
I've got
Mona Lisa
Starry Night
and Kiss by the Hotel de Ville (but I'm not sure really how well known it is- hard to say from a photographers viewpoint!)
do you know these artworks just from their titles? What others can you come up with?? :0) |

Whistlers Mother
I think the real title is "Study in Black and Grey"
No its "Arrangement in Grey and Black, No. 1" The site I checked points out that this is not a sympathetic title for a painting of your mother.

I am not sure how you could put title to Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel paintings.
