If you have a Costco membership/nearby store, you can upload/order online and pick up in 1-4 hours, up to a 12x18 print ($2.99).

Wow, that'd make the membership almost worth it just for that alone. Did they do a good job for you?

Yes, I've been happy with the prints. Note that the larger sizes (over 12x18) are mail-order only and made by Snapfish, which runs their front-end online ordering system.

You can also download printer profiles if you are into careful calibration and color-matching, but I've never actually bothered -- everything has been "close enough" for me.

Also note that the 8x10s are usually printed onto an 8x12 piece (I think they use a 12-inch roll of paper) with white borders you'll have to trim. I I usually set up my 8x10s onto an 8x12 canvas and put scaled-down (20%) "wallet-size" prints into the empty area, like this:

I'll also "gang-up" several panoramas onto one 12x18 sheet -- these 4x18 prints end up costing $1/each:

On one trip to pick up photos at Costco, I was watching as they flipped through the box, and all my "competition" was getting their prints done there too. Its great for action shots for like sports tourneys, cause you can get them done relatively quickly and inexpensively.

My Sam's Club is excellent as well....... (and many others in ABQ, Phoenix, Denver) Many of the local sports photogs and home portrait studio photogs use them.

I have not yet met a Walmart that comes close (and I have tried many of them alll over the western US.). Sam's seems to care, Walmart, not so much, it's hit & miss with them.

I need to get some good 11x14 prints done by Saturday. Does anyone know a fairly cheap online site that would turn around that quickly?

I got prints from my usual place but they are terrible! Thanks for any ideas.

My local Sams club does excellent 11x14 prints and they are cheap. I assume Walmart probably has the same capability.

I too would recommend Costco. Another nice thing about Costco not yet mentioned is you can have a customized name printed on the back instead of the usual company name/logo.

I used Sam's for all of my little league action shots and they were great!! A 5x7 is $.38 and 8x10 is only $1.46
