Hi,

I will be going to New Zeland in the near future and would like recomendations on a good wide angle lens for landscape shots.

Thank you,

Barry

I second that after using Robert's at our GTG.

I just picked up the Canon 10-22 EF-S this past weekend, and shot my "fill the frame" challenge entry with it. I already owned the Tokina 12-24 and when I went out Tuesday morning for a very important shoot, I reverted to the tried and true, trusty Tok with great results. They're both superb lenses.

I swear he gets kick-backs from Canon - how do you think I ended up with mine?? Yep, Robert loaned me his... I bought one the next day.

hate canon for not making a 17mm EF-s prime

What's the budget?

Sigma do a nice 10-20mm lens that goes for about £220 over here, which will make it around $250 in US (i think). Worth a look at the extreme wide angle end of things.

Take a look at ebay too and you could probably save yourself a few quid.

Yeah, well, if so, he has no clue how to prioritize his spendings and is so cheap he won't go to a barber.
