Ya know this just really sucks....I have the circles and OOF, my subject is clear and I can not figure out how this could score below a 5.5 or more.....I think Im going to stop trying so hard!

I have 5 comments, all positive, and yet this is where my score sits...my Open Challenge submission is about the same score with 5 negative comments (hehehe), oh wells.

you and me both...i thought mine was good too...definitely not worthy of the sub 5 score i'm probably going to end up with...oh well.

I have voted almost 50% of the submissions. I didn't enter this one though since I don't have a good entry and I know the number of submission is going to be huge, as definitely a lot of Guru is going to enter this one.
Just one comment after seeing hundreds of shot:
As the title stated: bokeh, many entries were showing very beautiful objects. From flowers to birds, bees to butterflies. But my votes will go to those who has successfully turn the bokeh into the object, not the flowers, not the birds. What I'm trying to say is, when I first look at the shot, my focus shall be on the bokeh, not on the object, and the bokeh shall be attractive enough, if not more attractive than the object. I know it's easier to be said than done, but this is what I feel.
This is one of the great example. When I first look at the photo, the attention is not on the flowers itself, but the circles (bokeh) above the flower.

Wow! Just when I thought my scores could never get any worse....I've got a lock on the brown for this one! (And not one DNMC or comment for that matter.) It's actually a cool photo, too - and in focus, etc.
I'm going on holiday from challenges for awhile...hmm, maybe I'll take up smoking, lol! |

because of this I think you should vote! everyone is suffering the ever changing scores. not to vote will only keep the votes on a low because of those %$#@ trolls. We need serious voters just to get an honest score. not one made by jealous people or sore losers. |

| I just finished voting and gave tons of 7's, 8's, 9's and even a few 10's. Hope I bring a few scores up :-) (I admit I did give some 4's, 3's and a couple of 2's, but only for photos with no possible interpretation of bokeh or just plain no effort.) |

I was on the same roll (6 in a row over 6), until I foolishly entered the free study. Sigh. But I seem to be back on the horse, and into dancing banana territory, at least for me....if it holds, this will be a new PB. Woohoo!
