huh? basic does not mean 0 editing...look at the editing rules for more info.

Ok think I have the brown tied up not dropping diving.
I think I NOW understand the concept of Bokeh not in my shot.
Tough way to learn but learn I will!

| I've now dipped under 5. There's a foreground subject, bokeh relevant and complementary to the foreground subject, little ring thingies in the bokeh - it's a cracking shot - I'm gobsmacked. |

I tried to vote yesterday, and my general impression was that many people thought that bokeh is those circles or hexagons in the background. And many times that was just fulsome. And for trying to get these circles their over all composition has suffered. I was impressed by many entries but some of them were boring.
probably too much of effort some times spoil the whole thing.

I WAS EXPECTING A 5.6 OR 5.7 ..
after this i'm wondering if going in another challenge and being totally slaughtered is worth it ..

@wizardry - I know I could have edited. But I've yet to get the software upgrade I'm waiting for and even then I'm not sure about what to use and when because I'm very much learning. So the fact that I'm on a (now) 4.88 on just what I took makes me happy.

I'm really amazed by this score. I took this shot and edited it in about three minutes a half hour before the challenge ended before I left for the eveing. I was honestly expecting a sub-five score for it.
And my free study entry, which I thought was the best shot I've taken this year, is barely hanging onto a 5.5.
Oh well, I'm happy. |
