oooh thanks for the nom. guys. I had this idea in my head and got it to work. This was done along a mucked up part of Lake Erie. Would have loved to see the looks around me as i was trying to take the pic lol.

hehe - "anti-candy", love it!

I'm sure people must have thought you crazy. Looks like you must have been lying in a puddle to capture that reflection in the foreground.

Thanks for the nomination, Karen. Between that and Don's comment, I'm riding high today.

I think we'd better give Don his own OOBIE for this one.

Yappie nomination for the month of September - cnovack - who went WAY above and beyond with comments on the Deja Vu challenge. She may well have commented on all of them - I've seen comments from her on all the ones I've looked at so far. And they aren't just comments - she wrote very complete and detailed analyses of each photograph, from how well it mimicked the shot it was deja vu'ing, to suggested improvements. An AWESOME job of commenting! Anyone who wants to learn more about how to make useful, thoughtful, and complete comments is invited to review her comments made on this challenge.

Though I didn't enter (and therefore was not a recipient) I take my hat off to her for truly contributing to the learning atmosphere here.

You beat me to the nomination by about 7 minutes. ;)

I second the Yappie for cnovack. I felt proud of my efforts until I saw the books she was writing! ;) Her comments are very good, honest, and informative. Great work!

I just came over here to nominate cnovack myself. Since Deb beat me to it, I'll second the nomination.

Oops, too late. Okay I third the nomination.

I hate to encourage such behaviour, but I agree, this should get the OOBIE.

That's posthumous and CNovack winning two one horse races.

An honorary third man prize for the occasion?

I think there's a huge OOBIE that Don's concealing down there, by the way.

I nominate liberty's Still Life with Motion entry, "Mushrooms in Motion," for the OOBie:

I meets the challenge, showing a traditional still life scene, but the motion is subtle and the tones and shapes are wonderful.

Probably not OOBIE-ish enough but I liked it
