Oh god. I forgot I have Tiger Woods.
I have a tendency to buy games in spurts. I wont buy any for a while, and then Ill buy 3 in a week, so I never devote my full attention to a game. |

Well I WAS going to buy the bundle. Wal-Mart is out now online. I fiddle farted around too long. Looking at other options now.
Wonder if ebay is a good option. They seem to be reasonable on the BUY IT NOW.

Just a heads up on the ebay deal...make sure you are getting a system...not a box, not a receipt, etc.
Youll see people saying they are selling a wii, and someone buys it now and pay pals them the money, only to get a receipt for a wii in the mail, because they didnt read the whole product description.

I always read the whole auction. I am still debating that and am leaning toward craigslist.

Rex - we found one on ebay for $70 over list price. Figured the extra money was worth not have to stand in line or hunting all over town. Given what some of them are going for the extra $70 was a bargin.
The mailman brought it today. One more thing off the list. Yea! |

One of a few Wii locaters //wii.clambert.org/
Watch for Bestbuy rumors on the net (They are usually true...I think someone propusly leaks #'s and locations from the top) that is how I got my 360 when the stuff was insane.
Watch Circuit Citys "Find in Store" in your area, their store inventory is always pretty accurate. If you see em pop in for your store...hit the road immediately, cause others are watching there as well.
ED: To say the Link I posted, looks like they are not doing it "realtime" like they did for the 360 (yet) sorry.

Well I was looking on ebay but have shyed away from that. This doesn't really have to happen for Christmas as they have not asked for it. I may just wait until after and get one then. If I luck out and find one now at retail price then I will get it but if not there is no reason to pay the extra when I can just wait.

Local Toys R Us got 21 in this morning...gone in as many minutes, if they even lasted that long.
Best buy had a line out front before they opened too...not sure if it was a Wii line or not

Did anyone watch Ellen today? I usually don't, but it was on in the background earlier. Anyway, they gave everyone in the audience a Wii, plus an IPod Touch, an IPod docking station, Wii games, and some other stuff, its CRAZY how much money some people have, but at least they are doing something for Toys for Tots too. I just thought it was crazy that no one can seem to locat these things, and Ellen can somehow get her hands on hundreds of them! |

Ellen gives away electronics, Oprah gives away Houses and Cars.
One day I will invest in a Holiday Season Ticket to go to Oprah's show! |

Was shopping on www.usedvictoria.com for something else and noticed that there are lots of Wii's for sale, some at inflated prices, some at cost. I'd suggest anyone in the market for just about anything check and see if they have a www.used[insertcitynamehere].com. Easy to buy from, easy to sell on... simple and simply great! |

Mario Galaxy rocks !!
This system is the best out of all three, and I'm one of those hardcore gamers too. I found a whole bunch of them here last month when I bought mine. Best buy had them. 250 $USD. Are they selling that fast for xmas?

I am pretty sure we will go with the charge station. We don't need the extra reach of the sensor bars casue we will only be about 10ft away from the TV. Game wise we can choose 6. I know it comes with the normal sports ones. WE will buy one game for me, one for the wife, and the other four for the kids. The wife likes Super Mario type stuff and I like Racing Games and First Person Shooters. Anyone wanna offer suggestions from that list? Kids ages are 8 and 10.

My sons loves the Legos Star Wars. Though he plays it on a gamecube, it should be even more fun on a Wii.

I would get the charging station for $10 that is a good deal it is 20 at the store. We eat through batteries constantly.
As for games if your wife likes Mario type games go for Mario Gallaxy its the best Mario game ever. That was not on your list but I have heard great things about Paper Mario. Its next on our list.
We have big brain acadamy. Its a fun game to play against each other. My kids are too little to play it with us yet but since yours are older it would be a fun family game.
Carnival Games is the other one on that list that we have. It is also a fun family game. My 3 year old can play a few of the games with us.
I don't have any experience with the other games. Sorry.

Sorry for the delayed reply... all went very, very nicely! I had purposely talked to Carrie several times leading up to Christmas to tell her not to be disappointed because I really didn't think Santa was going to be able to get her a Wii. As an evil parent, I really had fun doing that :)
Soooo, she was VERY surprised to open it up Christmas morning! Many, many thanks to rossbilly for coming through for us. What a testament this is to the DPC community -- this is an awesome bunch of people on this site!
