Oh ya...and I am sure the photographer who does these images would be real impressed to see another claim credit for his work!

Hmmmm!

Looking around the portfolio, I don't think he's intending to taking credit for them. When you look at the various collections, it's pretty evident he's a collector interested in genres. The "famous prisoners" folder in particular makes that much obvious. But he isn't giving proper credit, either.

If he was just collecting, should'nt he at least make it private? Does'nt putting them on public display suggest to passers by that its his stuff?
U all may not agree but i say thief

The guy has some pretty impressive shots. Quite inspiring. Granted, they're not his, but I do have some ideas for some challenges.

As far as I know, under copyright laws, as long as the user purchased the pictures, he/she has the right to display them. They cannot; however, make money off of them claiming the images to be of his/her own creativity. Thus if these images are being submitted not only is it wrong but it goes against DPC submition rules.

But are they being offered as downloads...like most images on that site?

just a note to say how impressed I was the articulate and restrained response Rudy ( Qart) gave in the Flickr comments section where his eye picture is being displayed.
