Day 7
It was still dark when i went to work this morning and raining and stormy when i got off, so i am posting a couple more that i took yesterday. I guess i am stuck in and old mill mode. sorry.
This one is the back of the old Dawt mill i posted yesterday, it shows the river and gravel bar i mentioned.
The next two are of Hodgson Mill. It is located about 10 miles or so north of Dawt mill. Its has been kept in good repair so it is much prettier. I think this mill is still in running condition. These old mills were quit common in the ozarks in times past.

In back of one of the local strip malls there is a pond. Next to that pond, as I was searching for photo ops, this was laying on the ground.

Ok, I didn't have time to get out today as I worked 10 hrs. So here is one from the archives.

a crummy process but i reckon its an interesting snippet of where i live .. well not exactly .. i dont live at the zoo !!! ..

You guys have been so kind with your comments! I am so fortunate to be graced with living somewhere with so much natural beauty. It sure helps to keep me grateful and humble, and to appreciate it moreso by having been given the gift of being able to capture some of this beauty to share with you all. Your wonderful comments give me way too much credit......I've just been lucky enough to capture some of these moments of exquisite beauty. Trust me, this place is so much more beautiful than I could ever convey.

We are now inside of the place I work. This is the front counter, next to the cash register. I love how the morning sun creeps in from the front window.

This my Kitchen...I love to cook. It is a big kitchen but the cabinets are not very efficent.
Edited to add...Per Marys comment. The ONLY reason the counters are not cluttered is because I moved things around for the photo. Otherwise I usually have to dig out my countertops from all the clutter of everyday life if I want to use them for anything else. (lol)

The Command Centre (ha ha). Computer desk with chair, camera bags and boxes to the left, a couple of mobile 'phones in front of the computer, camera battery chargers on the rack on the right, disgusting paper on the wall.
