I'm going to be going to Barcelona for a conference and I've arranged a couple of days for myself... what are some must see places to take photographs of?
Thanks in advanced...

Views of Barcelona
Barca is an incredible place for the photographer, as Colette mentioned the Gaudi buildings will keep you busy for more than a couple of days. Montjuic Park is worth a visit.
Hope you have a great time. |

when you go to the sagrada familia, go first thing, as soon as it opens, and straight away queue for the lift up the tower. Its a few euro extra, but imho 100% worth it, but the queue (certainly in tourist season) grows very quickly.
edit once added photos to portfolio:
Gaudi's gardens:
Sagrada Familia - good for architecture details and views from the tower:

Plenty to see there! apart from what's been said go to Las Ramblas and have lunch at "La Boqueria" market (good opportunities there as well to take some pictures). Try to be at sunset on the rooftop of "La Pedrera" one of Gaudi places, it is weird and beautiful.
Don't think you will have the time if you only have a couple of days but if possible go to Sitges. |
