It sounds good. Do it monthly and people would work extra hard to get a ribbon so they could enter too.

Why not just put all the ribboned pictures together and vote for Picture of the Year.

hehe and with a contest for last place like the draft used to be, through a game to see if can get teh lowest score, I wonder what that would to do the troll voting?

If competeing in the ribbon round is a reward, could have the oppertunity each month to 5 people who entered challenges selected at random from all the pictures. So competing gives a second chance at winning the bonus round at dpchallenge.

Just adding something to the ribbon winners shoot-out idea:
What if each month there was a vote on the ribbon winners and the prize being the photo featured on next year's DPC calendar for that month?
What if there was an end of the year vote on all the ribbon winners and the prize would be the photo on the front cover of the DPC Photo Album, which would contain all the ribbon winners for that year?
This could possibly earn DPC a little money in the process.

| This is a very interesting idea-thread, but unfortunately most of us would be excluded from entering. Hope it doesn't take resources away from the present format here. |
