Matters of the heart

I used a photo of an abalone shell as an overlay here and used a nik efex bi-color filter on it. The base photo is converted to BW and then enhanced with nik efex dynamic contrast. I love nik efex. :o) The overlay is lightly erased off of the left side of the face. I'm putting my tech notes here because I don't want to mess with the poem that accompanies the image.

hey all! I am "almost" back to normal life here, had a blast last week! Got tagged as the photographer for an upcoming VT Life issue on restaurants in the state, my pics are for the Web Extras, online supplement. What a wild week, and tour, and met some great people to boot!!

I'll post a few photos later in the week...was vvery thankful at the timing of Alicia's food side challenge, as I got some great ideas and tips forom that thread
