I keep falling further and further behind. These are images 8, 9, and 10 of Plants for a month. We have a Tulip, some variegated bamboo, and some May Apple.

Matters of the Heart
I've paired this with another Dorothy Parker poem. She fascinates me. I'm always finding new things of hers that blow my mind.
This theme of being the one hurting another has been topic of discussion in my life lately: It's harder to forgive one's self for inflicting pain, than forgiving the one who hurt us.
The photo is a small crop of a much larger one. I put a big frame around it and used three different overlays, one of which I completely erased off of the image in the middle. |

Matters of the Heart
This was taken at a Mexican restaurant in Old Town San Diego. It was almost dark and the dancer was whirling around, so it was hard getting a focused photo. I used two overlays on this after processing with Lucis Wyeth. |

I've fallen way behind. I'm running out of ideas, and it's been sunny here all week and everything's overexposed when I try to shoot during my lunch hour. Got a couple things today though. I'll post the other this weekend.
