"hostile voting," paynekj? If this was a difficult challenge to shoot for, it is way more difficult to judge. I am prepared to forgive, but I reserve the right to cry. (5.9 is not sneezeworthy).

My first challenge! Not a very shiny score, but will be excellent if I top in the next ones...

final stretch-lets see if scores rise or fall...heh- (hope for a rise...cuz from the sounds of it we're going for an all time low scoreing in this challenge) --

Did anybody else drop considerably at rollover??
I was shocked at how much ground I lost. There were many great and unique shots in this challenge. I personally did much better than the first time around.

edit: I met my personal goal. :)

This is going to be a long week. I was really excited about my photo and this challenge. Woke up to a 5.5 and since then it has dropped to a 5.1. Then to rub salt in a wound my 14 year daughter who hasn't been in a challenge since September 2007 also entered the same challenge. When I kissed her last night I told her don't be mad if I am head in the morning. She threw my statement right back at me this morning. She woke up to a score of 5.7 and it has risen to a 6. It currently is bouncing between a 5.9 and 6.0. Glad to have her back but oh man. My past two challenges I have been 6+ so this one is a bit hard to take. Oh well, I still love taking photos, competing and displaying my photos.

Hey there Mom! Ummm...looks like daughter stayed in front of you til the end, eh? :-D

I think I'll be sticking to something less technically challenging from now on :D

I was hoping this would squeeze into the 5 area to break my voodoo of getting no 5s [only 6s and 4s] but the voodoo lives on!!! Nooo!!!!

quite the opposite. I last looked at my score about 2 1/2 hours before rollover and was just under 6.1. I was pleasantly surprised to have risen to just under a 6.25 after all was said & done.

That's what usually happens and why I was shocked. It's beyond me to ever figure it out.
Bring on the next challenge. ;)

Thanks for the reminder glad2badad. Ha Ha Ha I was hoping some would forget that we were in one together and that I was being trounced. Yes she pulled it out and I am happy for her. Glad she is not in the macro challenge with me because I am sure she would beat me. Especially since my score is sitting at a disgusting 4.8.
