Oh man...this encompasses soooo much! This was a great topic and I think most DPC'ers will agree. The creativity on the topic is endless. Anybody have other opinions on the topic?

Hey Steve! I thought this one was good too. I didn't have a hard time finding anything to fit the topic because there was so much out there to pull from. I did try to avoid some of the obvious choices however. Good luck with your entry.

How do you choose? I always seem to make the wrong decision - my standings reflect that too.

I am not sure my selection process is much better, I tend to ask my kids what they think and anyone else I can pull off the street to ask--lol. I try to pick what I like best and then if voters don't like it I don't care so much. ne time I went with the choice others liked better and it did awful, I knew it was not a strong shot. So I try to balance those things I guess. I also ask myself if I came across this shot what would I give it and how would I critique it if I was going to-- is it sharp? comp? interesting subject? lighting? ect...

I guess I should enter the one I like and then post the other in a forum and see what people think after the challenge. I think I am getting worse, not better.

I just dumped my original idea. Would work, but definately didn't have any oomph about it the way I was doing it.
I think I'll have a go at another title entirely. Only concern with this one is that I doubt I'll be the only person to try it, but that can still be fun.
Again though, no real WOW factor to this one, but should be fun to do.
So many choices!

Mine is an original I'd bet but that doesn't make it wow...it's just that I like the image.

I basically just took a picture then thought to myself..."what book title is this"...pretty easy to do since there is so much literature out there...

| I have several ideas, but today was a wash and tomorrow I have to film a business profile commercial which will take into the afternoon. I hope I can get the time to set up my idea and get some frames down. :( |

This challenge is the favourite of mine, since I am here - I started with Science -, I had a lot of fun with composing my shot. To tell the truth, I have thought about a book, I invented the composition which reminded me soo much to another book, that I changed the title. I don't know whether DPCers will like it or not, anyway, I hope they won't hate it. I had fun at least. :-))) Ireally enjoy this challenge, so I agree with most of you. :-)

| There are some absolutely wonderful entries in this challenge. I am finding it hard to vote on image and not the cleverness of the photographers' response. The other difficulty is that I keep wanting to run off and reread all of my favorite books and chase down some new ones. Congratulations to all. Anne |

i was sooooo excited about this and didn't have a chance to shoot ANYTHING!!! 
i guess i'll add this to the list of challenges that i will shoot later on my own.... drat! |
