This officially sucks. I thought I had at least a mid 5 and I'm being told here that it's substandard. There's something I'm just not getting when I think I've nailed a good one and I come away with this.

My PB is yet to come... [Gazes toward horizon with distant grandeur in eyes.] Not this month though. :) [Gazes at toes, shuffles feet a bit, kicks rock] Not doing too badly though - about where I expected so far.

| Woke up to a dismal 4.6, Ouch! Slowly it has creeped up to 5.0800. Some really good photos out there. |

Woo Hooo. . . I'm not over 7 . . .yet (well one can always hope and think positive, right??? :), but after 35 votes, I'm at 6.94 with 6 comments and a favorite. Yayyyyyy!!!!!
I was afraid to look this morning, so I waited until 8:58am. Whew. I love it when that happens and I don't have to spend the day working thru the "You suck, why do you bother, blues" :) (course it is early)

Umm....
I used to think so, too.....
Then I got 6+ scores on the last six softened, ethereal images I entered and that blew that theory right out of the water.
After two years and over 100 challenges, I have *NO* clue what works! LOL!!!

That's what's been happening to me all day. I feel much happier, now my entry has climbed all the way up to the lofy heights of 5.4. Glad to see you have such a good score Sandy. |

After two in a row that surprised me at how much they SUCKED in the eyes of voters...well, O.K., they sucked from this point of view, too, a little...this one is at least getting a "little" respect.

It looks like this one may stay above 6 - cool. I really like the image (and it does look good in my office) so it really doesn't matter the score in the long run... |

I have found after doing extremely well in my home area that to let how you do here get to you is like trying to teach a pig to sing.
