What software do you use for sharpening. Do you use the sharpening in PS or do you use a plugin or stand alone program? I'm looking for something a bit more user friendly then the PS route. Any advice is appreciated. |

AT the moment LR v2 deals with most of my sharpening needs quite nicely and adds no extra steps to my workflow. |

Thanks Mark, it does seem much better than the previous version for sharpening, especially the output sharpening choices. Are you using LR2 for noise reduction as well, or running them as a batch on some other program and reimporting them for sharpening and output? Also, do you do your own printing or do you send the files out for printing? |

Dont really bother with noise reduction to be honest, even at iso 800 - 1000 with my 5D/1D combo the noise rarely exhibits itself when printing for albums, even when putting together a 14x10 album and having an image span across two pages the noise is rarely an issue.. on the occasion that an image does require some NR, I generally stick it through Neatimage.
Printing is all done by Queensberry of New Zealand, rarely do the `prints` thing to be honest. |

For sure, you won't get sharp images with any software when your oof or motion blur. Thanks for the info on aperture, though I'm running on Lightroom 2.0 & CS2 right now. |
