Here are a few portraits I did for a friend!
I would love any and all feedback!
Thanks,

Cute girl! I like the 2nd image best, nice eye contact, nice light and good expression. The first puts her face in shadow and I think her chin is too low. The 3rd one, while I like the light, seems a bit too bright under her chin. Also, on the 3rd, the crop seems uncomfortable, you have cropped her head, but kept her breasts....with nothing but skin in between it confuses the eye. Did you sharpen for web? They look just a bit soft, but not OOF. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks Cindi! I agree about the first one definitely, and now that you mention the crop on the third, I see what you mean. I didn't want to oversharpen them, but they aren't quite as crisp as they could be. I really appreciate you input! |

Love, love, love #2. I think #1 is cute... it shows a bit of personality ... might be good for a slide show ... but not a final product. And for me, the light in #3 just feels to harsh.

Thanks David!
P.S. When preparing to shoot my first wedding, I really enjoyed looking at all of your wedding portfolios! |
