I did like it very much, i gave 10
But it was my first submission, 141/150, 3,665. My photographer friend said it is very good and he is professional, so I am not worried. Probably here was this same problem as always - people who do not understand the point, gave votes anyway.

My current shot...It's at a 4.75. I suppose it deserves some of it, but I really didn't think it'd do this bad. *sighs*

What a great idea for a forum thread.
Here's mine:
I think the use of the dust and scratches filter seemed to offend a lot of people here, but I liked the effect and thought it was relevant to the way I interpreted the scene I was capturing. |

| Well, last night I was going to give up and quit. This morning, after seeing posted shots, I might stay:). You have given me hope. I am a newbie, a "early-retired" school principal, who is staying home to spend more time with my children. I love photography, but do not have a very good camera. I have only taken one class, but have learned more from your comments than I learned in the class. Thank you for taking the time to comment on pics. My scores for the "Giving Thanks" and "scents" challenge showed some improvement. |

New Every Morning

*sighs*
I knew I shouldn't do a flower photo, but the "I want to enter" syndrome got me too. I do love the colors and focus though...And it might have even done a bit better with a different title, I was going to put "Fresh Every Morning" to try and get across my meaning, but I was too late to change it.
And YES the water is REAL dew. -_-
I thought about using: this one, but decided to change it too late.

havent entered too many challenges yet - quite busy
still take lots of shots - but themeing them sometimes if tough
my worst - actual photo ( the halloween one did worse i think )
i still kind of like it - but wish the wet finger print wasn't there

Sometimes I think I'll submit a crappy shot just try to get the lowest score possible. If my score is going to suck, it might as well be the suckiest....

actually, i've only entered 3 challenges (one in progress, but looks like it'll be the highest of three at this point) so far.. so there's much more potential to do worse. but, placing second from last (108 out of 109) in the Sacred Places challenge with 4.061 will probably remain one of my lowest.. err... i hope so, anyways!
