I'm in - my shot is up on Flickr, awaiting comments. Not that they matter at this point, as I don't have time to reshoot anyway... Good luck, everyone.

I'm in.

Had to reboot to reset the network connection.

2 possibilities now on flickr. No post processing has been done other than the defaults in LR and sharpening on resize.

All comments welcome.

I'm above 5 for now so I thought I would post the high score now as I'm sure I'll be heading down in score soon.

I'm in for Fill Flash as well! This was the most last minute of all last minute entries.

Got into the hotel at 11:50, booted up the computer, tried to connect to the hotel's wireless connection.. Poor connection. Sat next to the door.. Good enough connection. Went into Lightroom.. Found most recently shot photos. Grabbed one, already processed. Exported. GIMP. Resized, sharpen. Upload. 11:59.

Whew!

Hey Dexter,

Might I suggest taking a look at the D90? Major bang for the buck factor.

It'll take the same photo as the D300 does, at a fraction of the price. And the 720p video that it takes is fantastic.

I've played with my friend's D300, and I don't regret my decision for a second.

I'm looking for the Low light abilities and the 51 point focus though. Plus in my travels, I need the sealed unit and metal body that the 300 provides.. I did , however check the D90 after your suggestion, other than the two forementoned differences they're identical. The D90 seems like a great value.Thnaks.

This is most likely the best I'll have for a score so I'll post it now and hope for the best.

The one thing that I really wish the D90 had was more auto-focus points. I find that the 3D auto-tracking feature of the D90 is useless because of the lack of points.

I think in certain conditions, the D90 has been proven to perform better with high ISO over the D300.. Either way, I think they're very comparable to each other.

If you're doing a lot of travelling, and shooting in harsh conditions, the D300 is definitely the right choice. That being said, I put my D80 in some pretty nasty situations and it never failed to perform!

I think the metal body and the 51 point AF convinced me and I pullled it off today! The Camera is beautiful! I shot alittle today in the city before it started to pour.

Well it's that time of the night where I get hammered, but at least it's slow and painless this time.

I'm in for Bokeh.

Good luck everyone.
