Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III

I am going to set up my lights today and take some photos. I haven't done so for quite a while mainly because I haven't been inspired. Today being the school holidays I have some time and a little bit of motivation but no inspiration!
My subject will have to be my youngest almost 9 year old daughter unless I can get my teenage kitten or old and decrepit dog to co-operate!
So I'm looking for anyone to point me to an image , website or photog that might inspire me. Maybe a fun idea to try or a good tutorial.....sigh.....something!

Does she have some colorful socks or shoes? Perhaps you can do something for the footwear challenge? Maybe give her some toys, hats, or various props and have her cut up. Kids can be real hams.

When I need inspiration, one of my sources is to do a keyword search on Flickr. I often come up with things I never thought of, and they often serve as a launching pad for my own ideas. Shoes search on Flickr

Added: You might want to leave the 9 year old out of the room, there was at least one adult adult oriented image that popped up in that search.

Thanks Steve that was the kinda thing I was looking for! Hadn't thought of the footwear challenge ( I haven't entered anything in a longtime!) of to look at your link :)

Take an hour or so & browse thru Jason Lee's work. I'm not into shooting kids (unless I have a shotgun), but Jason's work really impresses me. Whimsical, unique & fun. You can tell he loves his girls. I love the way he works with light (natural & strobe) & the results of some of his PS work makes me smile.

This is a favorite of mine.. Mind you, all of her studio work is done in a tiny little garage with the basic set up..

She's a mom with 4 kids and NO time to do this but somehow she managed to learn to be a photographer, build her own website and create these beautiful images.. She's my total inspiration when I'm feeling with out... Good luck !!!

There are interesting subjects around you. All you have to do is relax and take some time to gain the energy to start shooting.
