Originally posted by Bear_Music: Geeze, these are SNAPshots? Talk about elevating the art form :-) And I thought I was overdoing it... Wonderful images. I'd enter one in FS if it were mine... |
That's depressing. Roz has snapshots that are better than many of my challenge entries. |

More street photos with a strong Texas flavor. For the benefit of the folks in places like London, Frankfurt and Sydney, who have nothing interesting to photograph.

Day 11:
Continuing my Windsor theme for last time. Might do more next week. Again, a view of the castle from the River Thames, including the Windsor Wheel.

I think this is my 9th entry for the month:
It is very important, when holding that camera out in front of you, to have a firm foundation. If you do not have a tripod handy, you can make one with your body, as this gentleman demonstrates...

I cannot recommend the Changing of the Guard ceremony unless you go WAY WAY WAY freakin' early, or go with a guided group. Otherwise you get stuck behind tons of much taller and hard-elbowed people and end up holding your P&S over your head and hoping to get a shot. Here, in its entirety, is my collection of shots I though were worth keeping from the event. Just this one. Snapshot.
And it was freakishly hot.

Another image I opted not to let fly in the Tunnels & Caves.....it looks too much like my Postcard entry.....I was afraid that it'd be recognized.
Postcard entry....
