I took my dead Fuji in today to be fixed and the most wonderful thing happened, the manager of the store offered me one of her personal cameras to use. I was blown away, she said I had been good about it and she felt bad so she offered it. I get it next Friday, so until then... Let's move on to Canada.

Day 16:

Another from Savill Gardens. This is the view of the water feature in the temperate house. I just liked the abstract nature and lighting. Hope you do too:)

This is Wendell, the CEO, owner, and all 'round main man at the M&H railroad.

A kind & gentle man who is a wealth of railroad history.

He spent three hours giving me the tour and sharing his wonderful world of trains here in central Pennsylvania.

I hope to be of some help by at the very least providing him with images to increase awareness of his dream of restoring his railroad.

I also plan to roll up my sleeves and help with the restoration of some of the cars & engines.

What a gold mine of history and worthwhile effort!

More about their ongoing services HERE.

If you're in the central Pennsylvania, look me up, & I'll hook you up! Trains to ride & photograph!

Not exactly a snap - this was rather intentional what with the composition and underexposure and all. Gull was a bonus, though.

Sid gives me some attitude while I point the camera at him with a no look shot. I did crop it a touch since I didn't look through the viewfinder.
