I like 'wires'. I see some possible opportunities on that photo too. I wonder if it's lit up at night? That could allow you to photograph it with a dark background.

Wires, I like the fascinating intersecting lines... background seems a little pale.
Palms, doesn't do anything for me, content is just too mundane.
Reflections, ditto.
Water, content is OK but composition doesn't really strengthen the image - too central a horizon. Colour toning is a little heavyhanded.
Symmetry, I like this one most, crisp, well centred and composed, quite striking.
Convention Centre, content is mundane, composition not strong (as above, centred horizon doesn't help) and there isn't really a focal point of interest.
Bridge, a nice image, unusual viewpoint, going in close works well.

Water is my favorite. I'm not a big fan of the sepia toning on these images though. |

I agree, B&W would work much better. I think sepia is just too overused in situations where another tone would be better suited. |

It's the Hyatt. Did you check out the restaurant at the top. It spins around in a 360 view of the city. Very nice view of downtown and the bay. |

thats a really cool scupture aswell. im going to try and get some better pics of the one i shot before, from a distance. one of the problems is its right next to a park so there are allways people around to block the shot and a night shot is kinda not an option. |

I love "wires"--that is my absolute favorite sculpture in Tampa! I pass it everytime I go to visit my parents from the airport. I also love "symmetry". |

I've only looked at Wires so far, and I'm wondering if it would have more impact if the sculpture were isolated more from its background. Narrow DOF and eliminating the sepia toning would help in that way. It just appears too busy for me the way it is now. |

Reflections and Palms didn't do it for me either. The reflection off the building was too strong, although I did like the ray of light hitting the building. Bridges was interesting in that you contrasted linear perspective above the bridge with an ordinary view below the bridge.
I don't particulary like the sepia toning you're using (too pink). Am I mistaken in your using it to get a futuristic look? I would prefer a more cool color like a subdued grey/blue. |

I like your take on symmetry. You aligned everything very nively and the round object breaks all of the hard lines quite nicely. I would like to see it in color.

I worked a block from there for more than 14 years! I got to see the CIty at its finest... Ah to have had a digital camera during the Summer of Love... it was a magical time! |

I like the wires photo. Interesting composition. I agree the sepia is over used on the rest of the photos.
Reflections would be more interesting if the reflection was more interesting, but just another building isn't a good payoff.
