Sorry, I didn't know where to put this, and the Welcome Center does have a "Have a question, try here" message :-)
I am interested in becoming a member. But I have a question.
How soon after becoming a member do you get the benefits? Like, if I became a member today, would I still be able to enter in the "Orange" Challenge?
How long does it take to process the credit card stuff?
And while I am here at the welcome center....Hi! I am fairly new! I joined two weeks ago, and am really enjoying this site because it is giving me more incentive to pick my camera up.
I have participated in two challenges now and felt like I did fairly well for a beginner. Buuuuut, now I am bombing the 3rd one :-P
I am looking forward to getting to know all of you. |

It should process immediately.
Welcome to the madhouse. It looks like you did pretty good for a first challenge. My own first challenge was a 5.24, followed by a handful of bombs. |

Fiora, welcome. We used to be able to warn newcomers to beware of Slippy, but sadly he could no longer cope with the heat, so now we just have to warn you to beware of Art, our resident village burner.
Hope you stick around - its a great place to hang out. |
