I'm so frustrated. I've been trying to get authority to resurrect our team, "Out of Focusers", but because I wasn't the captain last season, I don't have authority to do that. I'm trying to get SC to grant me access to do that, but they aren't responding. I know they must be swamped right now, but I have eight team members waiting and the clock is ticking so fast.

You are correct to note the significance of this team "finalization" in the first 24. Good job!

I suspect that teams 25 -48 may be finalized in the next 6 days, but it's not a guarantee. if team #48 is not finalized, then we revert back to the first 24.

The finalization of team #24 is imminent, but i don't see a mad race to be #24, as there should be, if there was an understanding of the structure.

Yes, I understand the sentimental attachment may give you pause. But, with a nearly full team ready to go, why wouldn't you create a new team and sidestep the resurrection part?

Our team was division 3 champion last season, and I'd like to retain that history. And we have a good logo, which will save a lot of work.

That is commendable and I fully understand your rationale. If there are eventually 48 teams finalized (which I fully expect will happen), then you have time.

Confirming some answers to previous question:

- As mentioned before (and in the FAQ :)) private threads will be created on the 12th when the rounds begin
- The challenges that will be announced on the 12th and 14th will make up the first round
- Your team will be finalized automatically when 6 users accept (the captain automatically accepts)

For those looking for a team, everything opens up tomorrow so there will be more teams to join and you can create a team if you can't find one to join.

For those still trying to put a team together -- there's no rush, you have a full week to finalize your team.

I think the fear stems from the chance of not being in one of the first 48 teams created.

ETA... and there not being enough teams to get to next multiple of 24... perhaps?

Julianne, I think if you wanted to create a new team right now, you can. I know others have done that. Maybe you should do that, still call it the same name (if it will let you) then get everything transferred over later.

OK here's a question I can't seem to find an answer to even in the League menu. Is it still the top four scores that get used or has that been upped to five since the total number of players has been raised?

I think we'll make it. There's still 56 people in the free agent pool -- that means at least 5-8 more teams, and I'm pretty sure there are still other teams that haven't entered yet.
