I saw your ladybug photo and was getting ready to email you when i saw the post - what an amazing article and photos! Have just started and love macro but its not loving me right now but have noticed they are getting a little better.

Practice, practice - really enjoyed the tips and have already made notes for myself

I would love to READ the article but have no desire to see the picts. I have issues with bugs so there are totally tooooooo many bugs in the pictures of the article.

Funny thing is Steve teased me about my spider picture, which I totally took, but then had issues trying to adjust them. Bugs, YUCK!!!!!!

the magazine costs approx $15 australian a copy .. i would have been happy to buy a couple of copies and post them but its a bit expensive for me to buy more .. 10ppl = $150 .. !!!
i'm very happy to buy the magazine and post it to you guys if you can think of a way to transfer $15 to me .. i'd have to give you my bank account details if you wanted to do it online ... also i'd need a postal address .. :) .. let me know .. :)

i was going to phone the publisher on monday to see if i could buy copies from them rather than go to the newsagents who usually only have between 4 to 6 copies .. i dont want to buy all the copies in any one newsagent so i'd have to be going to heaps of newsagents to get 10+ copies .. also there arent that many newsagents near where i live anyway .. so i'd have to be travelling quite far to get them ..

i've sent everyone on the list a pm to see if they're still interested and if they'd be willing to transfer the cost of the mag into my account ..
but if you are happy to buy them on your travels and post them when you get home let me know and we can make other arrangements ..:)

Do find out and let me know. I am certain that taking the magazines back with me would greatly reduce the shipping costs as I live right close the the USA border and visit there almost weekly and could mail them from a post office there.

If cost is a concern, perhaps you could liaise with your publisher and ask him if I could pay for them via credit card. It would be nice if I could pick these up in the Brisbane area, or perhaps have them shipped here as I am here until the end of the month. Conversely, I can look around and see where these might be found in the Brisbane area.

Do let me know about the numbers that people want and I will do my best.

I will take a look for the magazine today... I am off shortly to visit the Museum in Brisbane and

Beetle is forcing me to attend the musical Mamma Mia which is currently showing at the Arts Center.

Roz and Ray (sounds like an old singing duo :-D )I'm still interested in getting the macro magazine. Macro is something I've been wanting to do more of for some time. I recently bought some Kenko extension tubes to use with my 100mm macro lens and am looking forward to getting some helpful tips from the magazine. The cost of mailing the magazine in the US should be quite low - I believe there is a "media" rate for books/magazines.
