Can PSP X2 use the color palette connected to Painter X? Painter X has Pantone color profiles that I would like to transfer to PSP X2 in hopes of duplicating a duotone workflow that I used with PS CS2. Here is what I am trying to accomplish:

The selenium profile I have for toning my B&W images is a quadtone and uses the above format although the colors are different of course. This would offer a much easier workflow for toning B&W images plus a very refined approach for tweaking the quadtone. If anyone knows how to transfer a color palette from Painter to PSP please contact me. Thank you.

Thank you Prism for your response. I will look at it and see if it is something I can work with. I liked the PS quadtone workflow because you could use a curve to adjust the individual colors as need be. This made it very flexible and easy to tweak the colors if necessary. Thank you again.

Tim, satisfy my curiosity if you will.
What about the colours did the curves change in PS CS2 - was it the colour? i.e. the hue or something else?

Hi Kevin,
When I adjusted the curve for my selenium preset the only color I needed to adjust as a rule was the purple. I simply nudged the curve to lower the impact of the purple on the overall image, in other words I made the purple less strong. I'm not sure of the correct terminology here which is why I am trying to explain what I did and what impact it had on the picture.
Let's say you had a preset which was a quadtone and the effect on the picture was to give it a purple cast. The cast was too strongly purple so you moved the curve to reduce the overall impact of the purple to a more subtle amount, this is what I did. I hope I answered your question Kevin, it is my ignorance of a lot of the terms that prevents me from being clearer.
