I just pre-ordered a 1DX through Adorama. Its scheduled to ship the end of this Month.
Currently I have a Canon T1i so this is a major upgrade for me.
Cant wait to get this puppy in my fat little hands and see what I can do with it....super excited!
Has anyone else taken the plunge and ordered this camera?

wow, going from a rebel to a 1Dx is quite the jump. What do you plan to use it for? Do you make your living soley with the camera? Thats the only way I could justify spending that kind of money on a camera. Pretty bad ass tho, the sound of it shooting in burst mode is insane. |

| No wonder you are excited. Unfortunately, unless that lottery ticket hits, I will not likely be making that upgrade any time soon. I would love to hear your review after you get a chance to take a few shots. |

Yes, I do this strictly for fun, as a hobby or addiction, depending on how you look at it.
I also purchased w/ the 1DX the 14mm f2.8L II USM & the 135mm f2L usm to go with it.
I fell in love with the L series lenses a while ago when i got the 100-400 f/4.5-5.6L IS USM.
Shortly after that I got the 24mm f/1.4L II USM & the 85mm f/1.2L II USM.
So lots of new gear heading my way that should keep me entertained for a little while.

Well they announced yet another delay in the release date of the Canon 1DX. Now its June instead of late April.
Oh well. I'm keeping my pre-order and hope enough cancel theirs so I move up the list :) |
