With just about everything you can do, there is a point where you get worse before you get better. |

You have to have the lows to make your highs appear high. At least that is how it works for me.

At least I'm finding out early on that I suck...I just joined (as a paying member) April 11, and I've only entered a few challenges so far, and have a whopping 4.83 and a 5.63 on the current two. Maybe as I learn all the little doohickeys on my camera and in that blasted (and much loathed this week) Photoshop program, I will get better.

I guess doohickey isn't correct photo terminology either...

It's okay, I have just barely figured out most of my doodads, thingamabobbers, and all of it's bells and whistles.

There are WAY too many doohickeys on your camera, I wouldn't even comprehend where to begin!

Ditto! PLUS, in exactly 1 hour and 24 minutes, "Serendipity" opportunities will be falling out of the sky, coming out of the woodwork, staring me in the face....... etc. ..... etc. They'll be everywhere - EVERYWHERE!!!! ARGHHHHHHH!!!! |

Yep, shortly after midnight a UFO will sculpt crop circles on my front lawn while Bigfoot looks on during a freak meteor shower. |

At 12:00 midnight I̢۪ll be sound asleep and dreaming of winning a ribbon in the Serendipity Challenge. |

That's really quite odd. That happened at my house exactly one week ago! (1 hour and 20 minutes before the challenge started...) |

I think that's the case for most of us.
