I was honored today to have my pyrocumulus cloud image selected as Earth Science Picture of the Day for June 21, 2012.
Previously, this year, EPOD displayed my (DPC yellow ribbon) The Apocalypse Cloud image  as EPOD on January 30, 2012.
These publications bring me great joy. I love landscape photography, especially when it has a connection with my Colorado, the sky, the mountains and the related science of an event. Thanks for letting me briefly boast.
I do give credit to DPC for getting me out there taking photos for challenges. That little bit of extra stimulus to put in the extra effort to photograph things I wouldn't necessarily photograph is very valuable to me. Thanks, DPChallenge!
