I just spent 45 minutes on hold, then 20 minutes with a tech support guy. He gave me a ticket number and transferred me to Level 2 support... then my phone battery ran out. The stupid phone won't run while plugged into the charger. Is that progress? In the good old days of rotary phones I could wait on hold all day and all night... and back then the call centres were manned by people who spoke clear English.

Let's assume he doesn't have enough foresight to call Tech Support with a fully-charged phone, which sounds about right for a chainsaw-wielding gorilla... |

Got through. Supposedly they will phone me back. Most likely while I'm at work, and of course they have my home phone number. This should take about six weeks, I figure.

No, I have all the 30mbps horse porn I need. This is for my Lorex security cameras. One of them lost its night vision, though day vision was still fine. I un-wired a motion detector for some lights that was right next to the security camera, and its night vision seems to be back. Hopefully that was the problem.

Yeah the lights would have hindered the camera from switching to night mode and would have forced it to stay in Color. BTW buy some real security cameras besides at Costco :) |
