Each year, the Utah State Historical Society has a photo contest, usually with some architectural theme. This year's theme was Log Cabins. They select 15 photos (of around 300 entered) to tour and appear in their magazine.
This year, two of my photos made it. Yay! The second one below made it into the top 6, so I get a free print from a local print shop.
They look okay on the web, but in print, these seem to glow and are amazing (even if I do say so myself)--such the difference between print and web?

Great job. You get to go on tour, too. Well at least your pictures do. |

Those are both really nice shots...but I do love the first one. I can imagine it "glowing" as a print! CONGRATS! :O)

David, you are going to just have to fess up to the fact that you are a great photographer.
We just hope that your head doesn't get so big that you can no longer hold it up to take those great pictures.
Congrats! :)

LOL. I doubt it. But they will probably do something like 'historical aqueducts' or something!

Congratulations on your win! They are both great pictures, I like the small cabin in color the best - it just looks so cozy. |

Congratulations David,
How about you and I do a swap for a month or so...you seem to have so much inspiration in that State of yours, I wouldn`t mind a "wee keek" at what`s on offer.
