| meh. I entered to try to improve upon my Vintage score for TPL. So far, that isn't happening. |

shot #3 from the same outing is scoring just behind shot #1, and well ahead of shot #2. shot #4 goes into the free study and does not look at all like #1-3, so it'll be impossible to pick out that it's from the same get-together. |

| also, some people may have a limited vision as to what a still life is (fruit in a bowl; flowers in a vase); but it's much more than that. i won't say anything more as i don't want to be appearing to tell people how to vote, but just am giving voice to a thought i personally had when this was announced "oh great, fruit in a bowl or flowers in a vase - for a challenge, lets see what else i can shoot to still meet the topic". |

| the signs of waiting till 10 minutes before deadline to take a photo and submit it to the challenge are definitely showing. |

I just had a quick glance through earlier.. there are A LOT of pears! Making me hungry for one now LOL
I do love a lot of interpretations in this.. going to be fun to vote and comment on these later..
I am happy with the starting and its been quite steady so far.

Look at the past still life challenges and it wouldn't be a secret at all. I'm not sure what it is about DPC and pears, but it's a real phenomenon. |

my still life shot has now surpassed my vintage shot in score, that's a first for it, wonder if they'll end that way...
