does anyone here use the DNG Digital Negative Converter software to convert their RAW files to dng files ..
i have updated to a camera where the ORF RAW files arent supported in my current camera RAW program in Photoshop CS6 .. and adobe will not be updating camera raw beyond vs9.1 in CS6 .. apparently if i could update to vs9.9 then my RAW files would be supported in CS6 ..
i've installed the DNG converter .. but each time i specify the compatibility to Camera Raw 7.1 or later .. it keeps reverting to the current version of the DNG converter which is vs11.2 .. even when i restart the program and have done a restart of the pc ..
also its not recognizing any RAW files when i select a folder .. when there are definitely RAW files in it .. which may be because of the compatibility issue ..
i'm running windows7 with 16gb of ram ..
i started a thread .. here .. suggestions were made .. but none really helpful if i want to actually use the DNG converter ..
this may not be the place .. but i really want to overcome this problem ..
