I didn't like it enough at first though; I didn't think of selective desaturation until after the deadline had passed.
Do you think it would be doing better than my current entry (sitting at 4.1)?

| It is a very nice image and desaturation looks in right place, but I don't remember desaturation to be a part of basic editing. |

I thought anything that affected the whole image was allowed - all I did was go into the "Hue - Saturation" adjustment and turn down the saturation on green, cyan and yellow. (This is in the Gimp, procedure / menu item name may be slightly different under Photoshop) |

| Yep,you're right, it is allowed in basics. Went and check Konador tutorial. Sorry. |

very interesting image...I bet it would have done well in the challenge...I think the desat works very will with it. :o)
