OK then, we have a quorum, from now on we mark down bugs, right? So now the proscribed list includes bugs, children, little frogs, cats, kittens, flowers, sunsets and... whatelse? I know there are more. I just want to be sure I am voting down the correct subject matter. I would hate to be unfair to subjects that we haven't agreed to be unfair to.

Plastic dolls and cars, pictures that are too small, punky kids, and worse, punky adults!

Humpf. A completely non-proscribed photo and:

Votes: 69
Views: 88
Avg Vote: 4.2609
Comments: 2 [both fairly positive -ed]

It's my hair, isn't it?

Well since you mentioned children, cats, kittens and flowers...my turn I have my own pet peeve with photos...two of them to be exact...GUNS and DRUGS! I know we don't see them in every challenge but I can't think of the last time either one of them got above a 5 from me. I won't give them a 1 just because I don't like them if they are technically good but also I won't give them a 10 cause of my strong dislike of the subject.

I have just marked all the Macro entries and i'm sorry but i am sure that my scoring of the 'bugs' got progressively lower. I didn't mean it but there was just so many of them. They are all technically great, but i just had that deja vu feeling on every other picture.

Kevrobertson, Im glad you told us that ... I just went and uped all my votes for maco bugs by 2 or 3 marks to counter balance the drop. I love macro bug shots keep them coming.

This is not true for me & many others, I suspect. I WILL shoot whatever I fancy regardless of how I believe others will perceive it.

WORD! I just figured out how to shoot with the coupler & the 50mmm & I found a dead bubble bee tonight. I too will continue with buggy shots!

If you have any, it very well could be -- we all know the top photographers have none.
