The county fair is coming up and I would like to enter the photo contest. I have no experience with these sorts of contests and so I don't have a good idea of what the judges are looking for. Which six of the following eight photos do you think I should enter?

I agree... 3, 6 and 7 are the best.
I really like 1 & 2 as well, but without a "challenge theme" they may not be strong contenders at the fair. (who knows??? I could be wrong!)
I just entered 3 pictures myself (with the help of some kind folks here at DPC giving me their opinions). So good luck to you! Be sure to let us know how you do.

3 for the awesome moment or
7 for the beautiful color
I've always felt that photos with people in them tend to fare better. But it's just a feeling.

3 Caught my eye as well.... interesting everyone is picking the kids shots, when they usually don't score well on DPC challenges ;-)
