4.810 - 44%
This is my lowest rated challenge photo and also with the lowest %, it's from the 'Once in a Blue Moon' challenge. I like it better than some of my other entries, I just think this isn't everybody's taste.

I thought maybe my current entry in backlighting would do worse than this, it seems like that I'm wrong about that. I was just so curious in knowing what people think of it, so I decided to submit it.
Well, I think this blue moon photo will remain my lowest rated photo after the challenges that are in the voting session now.

4.756 I still like it, but I guess other's thought it too boring.

4.514 I guess people thought that it was just out of focus. No one noticed the 4th remote that was barely peeking out from the pile. I was trying to focus on the word OK in the middle of the remote as well as the brand names. But oh well. I think I will finally break 6 on the travel challenge.... Crossing fingers....

3.6 I went for humor in the Sports challenge. I called it Dumpster Diving. I still like it but got loooots of "doesn't fit the challenge"

This was my first candid if butts and shoes count as candid :)

My first submission got the lowest.
After joining and getting my camera, I was really excited about entering a challenge and ended up with this one. Scored 4.119

edit: Challenge was 'Waiting'

Just one of my really bad ones!
09/08/2004 02:01:04 PM · #111

Bad lighting and focusing on to many objects.

Had 3 that fell in this catagory, all at 27%:

One bombed because I wanted to be really different and found
out that strong manipulation doesn't go over well here:

27% | 280 out of 384 | 4.952
And it was a free study too!

The second one that also bombed was in the Waiting Challenge,
and instead of "us" waiting for something, I switched the roles
and made it something waiting on us:

27% | 227 out of 309 | 4.534

Third and lastly was my very first entry, and I plead
newbie ignorance on this one (wasn't THAT bad...)

27% | 206 out of 283 | 4.736

This was my worst at 4.2. I have no idea what I was thinking other than trying to get something in for the challenge. The potential for an interesting photo was there but this wasn't it.

Everyone is complaining about 4's and 5's?!? Those are my bread & butter...just look at my profile...the Hope challenge entry is my worst (rightfully so).

When breaking the 5 barrier is your goal, then you can talk.

The more I'm on this site, though, the more I can see what people want and look for in a top photo...right now, I'm just having fun taking and posting things I like and find interesting.

:) I don't think anyone is complaining about the 4's and 5's. Just 'posting the lowest rated photo here'.

Here's mine. :) I, too, suffered from the must submit something from the new camera syndrome. I just received my 10D and just had to send something in.

I suffered from, "Waited until the last day and scrambled to find something to submit" syndrome. Also, from lack of studio area and materials.

Still, a 4.577 as your worst rating isn't *TOO* bad.

Here's mine from the liquid challenge ranked 198 out of 202 at 2.9:

Should have titled it "oil and vinegar reaction" not "opposite reaction". Learned not to enter abstracts into a clearly defined challenge - voters have no way to know if it meets the challenge! lol

- of course, it may have scored low no matter what the challenge:)

Worst so far was my neon entry. I just couldn't find anything interesting so I tried to capture a flashing neon sign. Ended up way overexposed. Ended with a 4.201 that I thought was very genoerous.

First challenge which scored 4.908.
Following week, I score better by 0.051... Hey, at least it's a wee bit better... LOL

What the hell was I thinking?
NOT a GRATE idea.
