Okay, it's a photo of a canyon or crevice maybe in Utah or someplace like that. The predominate colors are orange, red, and yellow (maybe just a little yellow) and there is light shining into it from above. I can't think of a better way to describe it but it's fairly well known. Who did it??

Thanks for helping me appease my curiosity :-D

Thanks Laurie and John!! Those are damn close; Close enough for my purposes anyway (to illustrate to a friend an abstract pic I did that resembles in an odd way).

Maybe the one done by Carl is the image I saw in a magazine once. But it was without a doubt Slot Canyon. Thanks again!!

Is it this from Luminous Landscape?

//www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/contrast_masking.shtml

It's also a tutorial for contrast masking.

No, not exactly... there are probably a hundred photographs of Slot Canyon around. I just remember seeing one in a book or a magazine... Dang it! I just can't remember where. Don't you hate it when that happens?!?

It's actually 'merde'.:D

Some nice stuff there. I like how the light brings out the textures and colour.

the picture is most likely taken in Antelope Canyon, near Page, AZ (by Lake Powell). It's probably the most photographed slot canyon in the world.
