My point exactly! If people start emailing and PM a person that comments on a photo then they may stop commenting. And I for one rely on comments to help me learn.

Well Iv'e voted about 25% and thats it with this challenge, I agree that a sunset is a sunset most are reasonable nature shot but there are very few that could be described as bizzare

I had a picture I wanted to take for the Bizarre Nature, but could not make the 70 mile trip to get it before the deadline. Here is a shot I took of it a few weeks ago.



One of my favorite plant shots.

My photograph for this challenge has suffered the most severe drop in scoring that I have ever seen for any of my submissions.

Started out at 6.9xx, rose to 7.000 and now sits at

Still a great score, but that's a 0.37 tumble.

When I first saw my score, at about 30 votes, I was disappointed to see it was under 4. I'm happy to say it has been steadily going up, now at just under 4.6 with 116 votes.

yup ... mine started around 6.49 after 20 votes or so and now I'm looking at 5.98

wow! im having a huge downfall!! from almost a 6 to a 5.4! ohh well i guess having 5 comments and someone add it to their fav. makes it worth it...just hope it doesn't continue to fall

I never complain, but........

Bizzarre Challenge States.

Photograph something natural that makes you laugh or wonder in amazement

WONDER IN AMAZEMENT.

Maybe the Challenge Editors should have added.

"Wonder in amazement because the subject is so Bizzare."

But "wonder in amazement" does have room for subjectivity w/o being defined.

Wow, my first shot has progressively been increasing and is now over a 5.

I've probably jinxed it now - but am happy. Would love constructive comments, though.

My photo started at a very low 3.3333 but now is on the brink of 5+. Personally I have never seen one of my pictures go up +2 full points after the first day. I donĂ¢€™t understand the voting on this one but I will not complain.

The intention was to encourage photos of unusual things found in nature, whether they are humorous, amazing, shocking, etc. The suggestion was worded vaguely enough for anything out of the ordinary to be valid.

I had considered entering some of my hawk pics Warning Graphic Content but I decided that they photo I entered was just so pretty it had to be chosen. I also worried about people voting down for the previously mentioned graphic content.

I just roll a 10-sided dice, multiply the result by the square root of the length of my cat's tail, divide by the number of paper clips on my desk, add the number of tissues still inside the box, and then substract the number of days I worked in the past month...

Patterns shmatterns. Just vote. Be an individual... and have fun.

I didn't see that many patterns this round. Gave a lot of 6's, I felt there was a lot of above average material!

I agree. I looked at some of the pics the other day and didn't find too many "bizarre" or "humorous" images. Many (not all) seemed like every day, ordinary subjects taken from an uncreative angle. I'm not voting either. Good luck to those that have entered.
